A-and never brought to mind?

Its framers’ efforts come to naught

Democracy declined?                                                             

       To keep it or to let it go?

       That choice is ours to make,

       Generations whom we’ll never know

       Will walk the path we take.

Our path must follow freedom’s light.

We-e will not kneel or cow’r.

This profound ideal is worth the fight.

It’s the people who have pow’r.

       Speak out in one voice, strong and clear,

       Renew our sacred vow.

       For everything that we hold dear,
