People are homeless
Cause they can’t pay the
Rents that their greedy
Landlords demand

Or they were burnt out
Of an apartment
That was a death trap:
The landlord’s plan

Got no home
Cops think that you are a crime
On the street
And you should be doing time
Because you’ve, got no home
Got no ho-ome

Homeless and hungry
Freeze in the winter
Roast in the summer
It’s all stress and strife

Let’s build some new housing
For impov’rished people
Fix some old buildings
Now, that is pro-life
