Democracy we will defend

for our fam-i-lies and friends.

Grannies are ragin’ a-gin’

None of this is really news.

Some use power to a-buse.

They think that we’re tak-in’ a snoose.

But this makes us blow a fuse !!!

We won’t quake a-lone in fright.

We’ll stand with others, show our might.

We know they’re wrong and we will fight.

We can make the fu-ture bright.

Let us mention one more thing

we ne-ver voted for a king!

Our foun-ders ran from such a thing!

Power should not e-qual BLING!

Riches do not make good rule!

Try readin’ and goin’ to school!

e-nough of all these fat cat fools!

It’s de-moc-ra-cy that’s cool!

For this coun-try we all care.

We won’t cave in to despair!

Laws are s’pposed to make things fair

not make us pull out our hair!

Those before us paved the way.

Facin’ struggles night and day

they fought cor-rup-tion come what may.
