Our power could be clean

and cheap, although TEP tells us lies and schemes

to make us think it must keep burning fossil fuel

to de-pendably keep us cool!

 

It’s a travesty-y-y

that TEP ignores the solar energy-y-y

that falls upon us every day, and since it’s free

would lower rates for you and me-e-e.

But it’s insane for us to have to pay extreme

profits to TEP’s wealthy investors

while they ignore our desp’rate screams!

 

Public Power’s what we-e-e

should replace TEP with… That way you and me-e-e

will have much lower rates and our ‘lectricity

will come from solar en-er-gy!

Public Power means that we-e-e

will own our very own electric company-y.

We won’t be sending even one single penny-y
