TEP doesn’t know its own gas…. from a hole in the ground!

However those of us who do…. don’t want it a-round!

It’ll trap heat here and trap heat there

But it looks like TEP doesn’t care

that we live in a desert where

it’s already too damned hot!

We don’t need no methane here…. instead we’ve got the sun.

All we need are solar panels and batteries to run

air conditioners here and refrigerators there,

we’d even have e-nough after usin’ our share

to send power out to other states

where they don’t have a lot!

So let’s get rid of TEP…. and foreign investors’ greed.

Replace it with a u-til-i-ty that reflects what we need.

We can own it ourselves and only then….

we can de-cide how, where, and when

our power is generated and what’s more…

NO PROFITS MAKIN’ US POOR!
