It seems most folks have forgotten the role of government.

It was created as a way for people to prevent

the few big bullies that are always there in ev’ry crowd

from takin’ more than their fair share through force and bein’ loud!

            So, why is government not workin’ anymore?

            Because we’ve let the rich bullies corrupt it to its core.

The bullies knew that they had to take over government.

Now they’ve taken over and they’re stealing every cent.

As taxpayers, when we ask where our money’s being spent

they just start wars and tell us that it’s paying for defense!

            The wealthiest increase their own prosperity

            while the rest of us get saddled with “auster-i-ty“!

The billionaires own big shares in the weapons industry,

so ev‘ry war we engage in helps them fi-nan-cial-ly.

We need to take our government a-way from these bullies.

So in November remember to vote progressively!

           DON”T vote for corporate-funded candidates!
