There are some things that must be changed to have democracy.

            Election campaigns must forbid all pri-vate mo-oney.

            Eliminate the Senate ’cause it’s a cryin’ shame!

            No matter what state we live in, each vote should count the same!

            We need ranked choice voting for all of our e-lec-tions.

            And the E-lec-tor-al College… Get ridda’ those sons a’ guns!

            The Pres-i-dent should not have power over the mil-i-tary!

            Congress alone should have that power to protect you and me!

            When one person or even a few control the mil-i-tary

            e-ventually it always ends in war and miser-y!

            We should elect our Supreme Court to serve four-year terms.

            Money  is not speech! Corp’ra-tions are not persons!

            If we don’t make these changes, we’ll have no democracy.

            Instead, it’ll be a dic-ta-tor-ship backed by the mil-i-ta-ry!

            America, America, we beg you to take heed!
