It seems to me that our “land of the free“

is one of IN-humanity.

Students who protest genocide must now fear

that they may soon just disappear.

Home and school should just be

places of peace and safety.

Standing up for what’s right

should be praised out of sight…

not punished as crim-i-nal-i-ty.

Can you imagine what it must be like

to be members of a family

of someone who’s suddenly swept out of sight

and no one knows where they may be!

We-e must make this end!

Bring back our loved ones and friends!

They’re our brightest and best!

They speak in our behest… (pause)
