We still remember Michael Brown,
Eighteen years, shot down.
Since then there’ve been so many more
Since ICE came to our towns.

These migrants sought a better life,
Safe harbor from their strife.
But ICE has stripped their lives away,
We say their names today:

To see it again & again.
Now Renee Good, forever stilled.
By thugs from ICE was killed.

She went to witness in her town,
When ICE just shot her down.
A wife and mother and unarmed;
A young mom, now gone.

Her name was Renee Nicole Good,
She did all that she could;
So now we sing and rage and SHOUT
And say to ICE: “GET OUT!”

Now though our hair has turned to gray,
We sing the lost today.
In our country, such lies, such shame,
We mourn and sing her name.
